What color to paint the H22 HyBrid Bling Bling JDM'd out EK????
Okay, well in the Summer Im gonna add a weld-in cage and repaint my car. Looking at some whole new colors. The color now is Roma red and it looks really good considering what it has gone through. So just give me your thoughts and add some colors if you like, I'll start with a few.

Keep it red. Complete color changeovers are more trouble than they're worth IMHO.

I really like the blue, looks like a totally different color under light at night time. But thw CW is oh so beautiful and original. Think the white will lok better with the accessories that I wil have as well. Maybe too much blue with Spoon calipers, Cusco roll cage and alot of SRR stuff.

I agree, that color must be an aquired taste. "everyone has an opinion"

I can't beleive LSB is leading, that is the ugliest *** color I've seen in years on any car. I'm with the guy who says changing colors is a huge pita, I vote to keep it the same.

Come on Kyle he's right bro.
What's wrong with the red? I think it looks pretty damn sick man.
Unless you plan on tearing the entire car apart and having the color change done right, I would not bother.
Take it from me:
It is a shitload of trouble.

Very true. My car SHOULD'VE been painted already. But some generic ******* had to hit me leaving my school parking lot!! Now his insurance company only wants to pay me half of what the damage is worth! **** that. Next time I talk to them I'm going to tell them I dont like driving my car because I dont feel its safe. Then if they dont give me the $2,500 it cost to fix it, im sueing those *****. The kid that hit me said its my fault?? Riiiiigghtt, I drive sideways now. Society really pisses me off.
Well when I do get the money, should I get it fixed, or buy another car? If so I'll have $3,000 to spend.

Well I got a buddy of my pops that is a really good painter. He has painted Hot Rods and stuff for a long time and my dad just got his driveway paved. So if I wanted to get it done the right way then I could not much problems or at a heavy expense.
But I am still kinda thinking of just getting it done the same color. My dad used to be in the Hot Rod stuff back in the day, he worked at a body shop for 20 yrs, and we got into it last night when I simply just asked him if he liked a color (LSB) and he started on about how no matter how many cars he worked on or painted they never got a color change, that it it is like changing the cars sole. And I kinda see where he is coming from.
But the only reason I consider this is I am somewhat picky about my car and I really do not like that in the engine bay and the interior paint, it is so dull compared to the exterior. I do plan on putting a cage in during the summer and would like it to look nice you know. I really hate when people ask me to pop my hood and see the engine because the paint there is just so much duller than that of the exterior.
So I guess what I am trying to say is either way I look at it is, if I want it to look like I want it to then I am gonna have to do it the right way no matter what. Just wanting to consider other colors if I have to go the whole nine yards. I do not want to be miserable with what I have when I could have been so close to being completly happy with what I could of had. You guys get what I am saying.

Well IMO a color change is only worth it if you want that color badly enough to kill yourself tearing the car apart and rebuilding it.
It was worth it to me for my silver hatchback (used to be Milano Red), but I will never do another color change - ever.
If something unfortunate ever happens to my silver hatch and I need another car I'll try to find a color that I like and get a really nice exterior respray. If I wanted another 1992-1995 I'd have to get a Harvard Blue Pearl hatch and get a fresh outside job.
Red is not my favorite color on Hondas simply because it is very common. If you feel the same way then no matter how bad-*** your car is (with the H22A swap, 5-lug, Volks, bad-*** suspension, etc.) it will always leave something to be desired if you don't like the color.

very very well said color changes suck and to do them right they suck even more, i have a whole new outlook on people that paint now i just helped with a really really big job 32hours form start to finish we could not stop, 3 stage paint, flame job, and total color change it is not very fun to do but i would do it agian jsut not for a regular job. You must love the color you are painting the car if you don't you will be paying a whole lot of money agian or be doing a whole lot of work agian.
