Take all the junk out of your trunk! Lowering springs, coilovers, stock springs. Maybe both your rear struts are blown?

Depending on how old your car is if its on the original springs they may have sagged due to age. I had a 67' buick with the original springs and the rear end on that thing was really low. From the mechanical standpoint springs lose their elasticity over time which may be whats causing your issue, but how to tell if their worn out im not sure of.

^I think they would actually increase their elasticity and lose their rigidity. You can tell they are worn cuz they're bouncy and bottom out. I have H&R springs/Tokico blue on an EG hatch and it actualy sits up way high. The front with the same set-up sits a little low since my dohc swap. The H&R claim a 1.5 drop, I got -3-4 in front with maybe -1.5 in rear. Looks kinda dumb but I call it my launch suspension LOL

OP I dont think you said if the car has OEM springs on it. If so, they are pretty high. If not, try OEM springs that should definitley raise it up.

replacing just the springs should help the height, if its bouncy the the shock/strut as well.
on both my old civics and my friends civic our springs were actually broken.
its a civic issue at least up here in ny.
