hondata if your gonna do some extensive mods...but i think the vafc would suffice for basic boltons mild cams

I am getting a Hondata for my custom T3 turbo setup on my B18b...ie: heavy modding. I have heard of some guys who use the V-AFC on turbo setups though...don't know how well it came out though.

it's for the AFC hack setup. It works alright, but you have to get something to take care of your timing. it also makes you run rich as ****. But I used it while boosted at 7 psi, and it wasn't too bad for a cheap setup.

Can't you just lean it out more? I can't see it making your set up run THAT rich... I'd figure that boost dependant FMUs would be much worse. At least with the hack you'll have the ECU reading the MAP sensor in boost which would be better than just dumping fuel with an boost dependant...? Anybody care to add?

Hondata is always going to be better but also is more expensive. I'd say its not worth it unless your FI or really extensive NA like super high compression, gotta keep the motor safe.

very, very, very, very vague question.....
simple answer.......hondata, whether it be the first or s200, it still allows for better tuning potential than the vafc

i would just save up and go with the S200 program, provided that you know a good tuner and are ready for some time on the dyno
