the only thing i have against aftermarket headlights is most of the time they start leaking after a couple months and light output is always scattered. I had a pair of gunmetal 99-00 headlights for my ej8 a while back. Scattered light and leaked after 4 months. Sealed them and sold them haha. I would go with a the OEM DIY or CTR headlights. If i had the money CTR headlights FTW.

You forgot to tell us what front end you have... The '96-'98 or the '99-'00.

I think the best ones are clean stock ones.
The '96-'98 stock headlights only look bad if they're dirty or in bad condition.

I'll second that. OE light housings were designed to be safe, thus putting out the most efficient light that was reasonable.
An OE housing with a GOOD halogen bulb will be superior to most any lighting setup in a halogen housing you'll find.
