no everyone has the 2 grand for it and the knowledge too install one of these. you have to think of the average person with about 800 bones to blow on the engine.

seeing that it already has a vtec head on it that would be pointless. Second a homemade turbo kit is about a grand nicely put together. third Nitrious is good but your car is already designed to run lean so that wouldnt be to good of an idea. I would say do your y8 head, get an ex tranny, then prep your motor for a turbo i.e. fuel mangement, injectors, fuel pump, etc. or you could search.

chill mp5o. sohcvtec1995 meant...
Mini-Me's consist of a non-VTEC block and a VTEC head.
since it already has VTEC/VTEC-E, it wouldn't really be considered a Mini-Me, as you mentioned.

i think that's what he's trying to say. if you can prove different, good job.

I know... I figured since he would only be swaping the head and other small parts it would be classified a mini-me.... Since hes doing half a swap... Not a full swap.... So a mini swap???
BUT..... <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by sohcvtec1995 »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

Turbo would be the way to go unless you just wanted to install a cam cam gears and do a Port & Polish w/ upgraded valve springs and retainers as well as possibly oversized valves.
that would give you some HP not to mention help if you went turbo down the road.
Good luck..
