I put in the B18C5.
Reson.....simple, how many people always look for Type R cams!?!?! You already have them
2. How many people look for the Type R intake manifold!?!?! Again, You already have it.
3. How many people need valve springs and all kinds of other crap from the Type R......you already have it.
Follow me yet??? More, oil pump is better, rods are stronger, high enough compression, pistons are made better, what else do you want?
Buck for buck, the B18C5 is cheaper and more reliable then a make shift B series.
Oh yeah, Type R's come with LSD trannies, lighter flywheels....the list can keep going......

2400 lb car........
Put forged components (arias pistons and crower rods (maybe))
balance and blueprint the small block.
Use a 75 shot of NOS.
All motor you are going to spend a lot of money.

Re: What b series setup is better (Hybridhonda561)
Here is what you do.
1. B18C1.
2. ITR head. (sell the gsr head to fund ITR head)
3. Some dope pistons. At least 12.0:1 compression.
4. Some dope cams. JUN 3's, TODA C's, Skunk2 stage 3's, Crowers
5. Uprgraded valve train. Refer to companies above.
6. Dope header. SMSP, TODA, JDM ITR
7. Light *** car. Gut everything. No ps, ac
8. 15" light rims.
9. Dope tires.
10. Dope tranny. JDM 4.785 final drive
11. Dope clutch. ACT 6 puck or something.
12. Lightened flywheel.
Voila, easy 12's. Not street legal or cheap. But you will be fast.

12's on all motor street legal is not an option.
12's in a honda street legal is almost impossible. If in California forget it period.
Turbo. or NOS, cannot get 12's in a 6th gen coupe without forced induction.

Re: What b series setup is better (Spade)
well im pretty sure a 6th gen coupe can get into 12's without F/I but its costly...im in chicago so its easier than cali as far as emissions go...we get away with alot out here
