Default what alternator?

my alternator went out on my b16. I was wondering if a high amp alternator was worth the money? where is the best place to get one? if not what alternators from stock hondas will fit without any "getto rigging".

higher output alternators are great for big stereo setups, but nothing else.. they rob power from the engine.
if you are still interested, http://www.4alterstart.com sells rebuilt highoutput alternators for most vehicles

dont go to autozone, they are 150, i just changed the alternator off my jdm b16. if your in s cali, theres shop called "advanced alterantors" they got 2 locations. i paid 90 bucks.

at first i took mine off and he gave me a usdm b18, but that didnt work. i went back the next day and he rebuilt the one i brought in, bam , works like a charm

I had mine rebuilt at an auto electronics store for $75, they did a complete rewind and replaced the brushes. Has worked great ever since, this was about a year ago.
