Went to the track last night and heres wat i did
Well this was my first time running at the track last night.
Very first run ever i did:
R/T .619
60' 2.413
330 6.484
1/8 9.786
1/4 15.071@91.11MPH
Best I did last night:
R/T .919
60' 2.361
1/8 9.749
1/4 15.05@91.41
Its a 95 Civic HB CX, full interior
B18C1
Cheap CAI
Tanabe piping w/ ITR Muffler and test pipe
Si tranny
Excedy Clutch
P28 chipped w/ Mugen Program
15" GSR stocks on cheap balk Nankangs
leaking compression in cylinder #1 (bad valve)
Could break that 14 second mark dammit
Also.....i keep checking my spark plugs and its always a brownish white (more white than brown) and the fuel PSI is at 45-46PSI. Anyone know why??

You need to lower that 60 foot time and that would help you out alot. Just need more practice. Also what are you launching at?

That makes me feel a little better about my times
'93 CX w/B16A3 - full interior
short ram intake and ES Oval muffler
60' 2.419
330 6.460
1/8 9.809
1/4 15.103@94.02MPH
And you've got all those extra cc's

because the head is getting rebuilt.....the valve just isnt seated right

Yup i know....i wanna hit that 2.1-2.2 range.....im launching at 2800-3000...but when i launched at 4000 and high....i just sat on the line and spun tires......i tryed feathering the clutch and stuff but that takes practice and this was my first time ever at the track

If you are getting too much wheel hop, launch at 3k and use some 13 inch or 14 inch steelie tires.
If possible get some slicks.
The 60ft is high, if you lower it to 2.0-2.1
low 14s maybe even high 13's are very possible

im pretty sure if u get ur 60ft to at least 2.3 yu'd be in the 14's. if ur money is best invested in some slicks, i have drag radials and there alright for the money spent, but if u want to really lower your time slicks are your friend.

Just curious why you are running a chipped P28 on a stock motor with a stock GSR intake manifold?
Azenis suck? Your friends are pretty stupid.
I ran a 14.0@99 w/ a 2.0 60' on Azenis.... two years ago.
92 Si w/ i/h/e and an old *** b18c1.

Re: Went to the track last night and heres wat i did (Gray EG)
First time I ever ran at the track was a 14.9 at 93 mph. Here is what went wrong, I was nervous, I staged to quickly, didn't adjust my tire pressure didn't adjust my shocks, didn't rev up, didn't actually launch, when the light turned green I dropped my 6puck and pressed the gas at the same time, I almost stalled the car on my first run!! I drove away like I was at a stop light with no tire spin at all. I had 3/4 full tank full interior, spare and jack and I'm afraid to switch gears fast too. It was embarrassing but every one who saw me was surprised that I still hit 14's. I very well may be the worst driver with the coolest car ever, at least it is to me.
