well a guy saw a shopping cart doing mach v run into my fender, he came and gave his story on the report, they got his # and ****. Then they took all my info and said their insurance would call me in like 48 hours. what are the chances this **** will get payed for?.......... ****

if it were me... i'd MAKE it happen, either they pay for the **** or you threaten legal activities. their cart boys/girls are supposed to keep the **** under control. then again, they can't be blamed. but i've never seen any legal postings or warnings saying we're not responsible for damaged vehicles via shopping carts. so i'm sure if there were a battle, you have a good chance of prevailing.

Well if lowes has the same insurance provider as Wal Mart, then you should be getting paid. I had a cart hit my car two years ago at Wal Mart and was issued a check within one week of the incident

Your not the only one. Took me 5 mins to see it. But that sucks non the less. If the guy that put the shopping cart to your car pays for it i see no worries.

i work at home depot and i refuse to drive my car to work for this very reason. we go these huge orange lumber carts that would do hella damage. good luck. your lucky that someone saw it and gave there story.

above the molding there is about a 6-8" long indention and at about 12o'clock above the tire it made an outie dent!!!!! so maybe i have some hope!!!! i wanted my car to me so fresh and so clean for the ATL meet this weekend!!!!

This happened to my GFs mom at Lowes. She got way more than enough money to cover the damage! I am pretty sure you will get paid!

That sucks but could work out for ya. A friend was at Kmart in his Civic, came out and saw a small dent that may have came from a shopping cart, reported it to them and they paid to fix it. Actually paid to spray the whole car cause a friend owns a body shop but at any rate, he was taken care of.

That is because they have to replace the fender and paint to match. Plus labor, it adds up.

Settle with the shopping cart owner and have them pay for the damages to just paintmatch the fender.

lowe's insurance is calling me so.... i dont care about the money i just want my car to look like it did before pulling into their parking lot!!!!!!!!

dude you could get a new fender for the price to get the dent taken out and all the hastle you gotta go through, suck it up. these cars are meant to drive not sit in our driveways and look pretty. this kinda **** happens all the time
