So i am driving to school today and i stop at the stop sign to turn into the parking lot when, BAM i hear this extremelt loud explosion, at fisrt ohh **** maybe i got a flat or something, but i noticed smoke behind me. I am like wtf just happened, and drive into school. I find out that day that some crazy mexican worker was using a jackhammer on the concrete on our scholo for new lines or some **** and he hit a 13,000 volt line and shorted it out and caused the transformer above me to explode. Now the icing i come home from school and start to wash my car and start to notice some paint chipps on my car, I begin too see them everywhere. Proly around 13-16 dime size paint chips on my roof and hood, well the ceramic on the transformer blew and sent shrapnle all over my car and ate the paint up. SOOOO i am going to try and get the school to pay for it , and that is y i am pissed ohh and i have a black civic so everything shows up just great...

If it makes you feel any better, tonight around 7:30 I was driving back from Wendy's with this freshman chick and a tornado touched down and pushed my stupid hatch across two lanes of traffic. All the shrapnel definately scratched up my paint (pass. side) and the girl was screaming "We're gunna die!" at the top of her lungs while curled up in the fetal position in her seat.

The transformers all exploded around us and the streetlights went out when it happened. It was pretty incredible: I thought I was going to die, definately said a little silent prayer between telling the girl to calm down.
