I have a 95 honda civic ex, stock engine (144K miles). In the last couple of days when ive tried to turn on my car sometimes it turns on and then suddenly turns right off. It sounds as if there is no gas, I thought it might be the fuel pump however, after a couple of tries, or if i give it a little throttle it stays on. Other than that it runs perfectly fine. This problem doesn't happen every single time just soemtimes. Mostly when its been sitting for an hour or two. I have a kill switch on the fuel pump and ive had it there for awhile, but could that possibly cause me problems?

anyone out there had similar problems? I Haven't gotten a chance to really look at it just want some ideas of what could be causing this. any help would be appreciated .
