Default Weird noise at 3000 rpm

When ever im dirving and I hit about 3 or 4 rpm, my car makes a weird noise. it sounds like the tranny or could it be the flywheel? It only does it when i go a certain rpm tho. Anyone know what it could be?

if it's kind of a ARRRARRRARAR grinding sort of noise, it's probably a heat shield on your exhaust rattling. mine does the same thing: when the tach crosses 3k while dropping, it makes that terrible ARRRARARRRARARAR noise. many others have the same problem - a lot just starting recently; i think the cold weather causes this.

How could it fix it to where it doesn't make the noise anymore? It really bugs me. Heh.

damn, mine too, but i dont what it is. i think it might be my exhaust bolt(s) a lil loose, but after i crank 'em down, even with lock washers, it comes back in a few days!!! mines at exactly 2000 rpm, its so gay.
