Weak E-brake will fail state inspection?
I just replaced the break pads for my car but the e-brake is a little weak although it still works. But not very much on an inclined surface.
Will this be a problem for state emission/inspection testing?

Re: Weak E-brake will fail state inspection?
I went through NJ state inspection and my e-brake didn't even work. I passed with flying colors.
This was on a 1998 Honda Civic DX.

sounds like you need to adjust the pads, use the star cog at the bottom between the pads. When you turn it they will either go in or out. adjust them to where the just barely touch the drum
