Default water in eg

well it rained hard today while i was at school, and when i went to get some books out of my hatch, there was some water in the back. It was on the rear left corner of the hatch, you wouldnt be able to see it with the interior in place.

where could it have come from? i checked the tail light for leaks, its fine, and on the passenger side i dont know where else it could come from other than the roof seal of the rear window, and the window seals are fine.

here are the pics....ignore that rust/discoloration, its not from the water

i noticed the water first here, it was just pooled up

then i looked here, and it was like a 1"x3"x2" puddle in that little corner

Maybe its a slow leak from your taillights. Like if you wash it or something then water can collect in the taillight and leak into the car slowly.

i had the same thin g happen to me in my old hatch. after i washed the car rained etc there was some water. mine was coming from the right taillight assembly, went to the junk yard and found an aolder taillight etc etc and got a foam piece from honda. the reason i got a newer tailight was that the 1 i had was splitting apart. there was a small place where the taillight spilt from the back housing. but in your case you might want to start checking around the rear quarter panel to see where its leaking of even the rear hatch glass to see if its making a good seal. but if its pooling around that area chances are you need to take the tailight out and re assembly its back together properly.
