Default Watch out for SOAP on the road y0! crap!

Well, i fucked up my car a little today

He's the copied conversation with my friend cause i'm lazy:

sketch hs: i fucked up my car today
rainoverbadlands: what?
rainoverbadlands: what hapopeend
sketch hs: i messed up the alignment on the passanger rear wheel
rainoverbadlands: yo uakay?
sketch hs: fine
sketch hs: just took a corner, unexpected SOAP on the road. some one was washing their car with hella suds and it was all over the road right around a blind corner.. which i was taking to fast
sketch hs: fishtailed
sketch hs: coudn't slow down enough
rainoverbadlands: ****.....will she fly again?
sketch hs: avoided a wall but swung the back end in to the muddy hill

anyways now the wheel is making a little squeak and according to my friend it wobbles back and forth a little bit like just enough to notice. it doesn't shake or vibrate on the freeway but does make a little noise that you can hardly hear at all while driving. like so quiet you're not sure if you are hearing it at all

I'm guessing (hope so!) that a four wheel alignment, which i need anyways, will fix this. i didn't hit that hard at all, but took a lot of mud home with me (bought a block away)

i need to slow the F down i wasn't speeding but even going the speed limit on this road is a challenge.... twisty *** hell but i love it. except when there is soap on the road.

think a simple alignment will fix me up good?

Sounds like more than just an alignment is needed. Pull the wheel off and see if anything looks broken.

See if anythings falling off or wiggling when it shouldn't. The other side should give a good comparison.

Dude holy crap, same thing happend to me when I owned my 98 Cobra turned a corner at about 15-20 got on the gas to go up a hill middle of the turn hit soap and did a 180 in the road, jacked upseveral rims on the curbs and bent the exhaust. Don't ask you'd just have to see the turn to fully understand lets just say it sucked.

when i went to a "performance tour" for mercedes, they had about 4 different models of cars out in autocross courses to test new things on the car...

One of the displays was a tarp laid out on the ground, COVERED in soap and water. They instructed you to "punch the gas" when you get on the soap.. When you punched it, the car just rolled forward at about 10mph.. while your tires were spinning like crazy.. It was to demonstrate mercedes' new traction control.

okay well i took the rear wheels off and nothing looks bent or broken BUT....

the drum brake "cover" in the back was loose so i wiggled it around a litte and it just... came off. the other side (that didn't get any impact) is not like this at all.

so what now?
