Default wat is wrong

I have a 1992 honda civic lx . With a D16z6 motor swap into it.. i dont know what is wrong. it idels at 2000 rpm ...is it the throttle body???? heeeeelp... do i need an ecu

The check engine lights also comes on after a few minutes of idealing

did it idle at 2000 and stay or did it go up n down?

i use to own 1993 civic lx 4door it idel high then it blow up a head!!

it goes up and down but not that much ..probley like a range of 300 rpm all obove 2000

Have you checked the condition of your TPS and have you tried adjusting the Idler Screw? What ECU are you running? If it's a D16Z6, you need the P28 ECU.

He's asking you if it surges, like constant up/down/up/down/up/down ect...
Make sure your idle cable (nut) isnt too tight.
I believe there are 2 nuts (12mm) and you need to loosen them and move them to a dfiferent location on the cable and then retighten them with more slack, see if that works, and if your idle jumps well you should also bleed your coolant.

Oh and you also need a p28 ecu

wat about that check engine light ...will it go away if i do that...and it also shakes alot.... i took it to my local shop and they said it needed a new sensor on the trottle body....but they also told me i needed a new water pump and nuthing was wrong wit . it also stop kicking out at about 4000 rpm

here's an idea, why don't you see what code its throwing? that'd probably give you a clue about whats wrong.
