so i was wondering wat rpms should i be shiftin at durin a race in a d16z6?

If you're racing on the street you should shift at 2200. and oh yeah, street racing is F*CKING RETARDED!

easy guys, he never said he was street racing, lets hope he is on a track.

OP if your not on a track there right and just be careful, hate to see someone get hurt.
2200-2500 I would think would be ok but I really don't know because I don't race

2200 was my way of getting him to slow down. if cruzs can post a pic of a time slip i'll divulge the secret of rpms to him

You generally would shift 2-300 rpm's before redline. Only a dyno test can show for sure though.

well the reason for me askin is because i am going to be attending a track day coming up next month and i was wondering if anyone can give me some advice..i would never street race.. my good friend was killed by a street racer..

You should honestly be more concerned with your launch. Good FWD launches can be tricky.
*EDIT* I just assumed 1/4 mile. I guess you could be running auto-x too. my bad.

on the streets 2500-3500 and on the track try right at redline or 1000 before. But MHDesigns is right about your launch
