Default Want to see how Spoon mirrors (replicas) perform? Look HERE!!

I just finished installing my Spoon mirrors that I got off ebay for $120 shipped.
PERFECT fit both mirrors!!!!!
The blue tinted glass is cool and I hear that all the cars at night that I see through them will look like H.I.D.

Anyhow, the vision in the drivers mirror is not that bad. But, the passengers sucks a$$!!!

I am going to look into a better rear view that can get the blind spots. I've been driving for over a month w/o a passengers mirror so I am used to turning my head and looking to change lanes

Here's the drivers side view:

The passengers from how I sit in the drivers seat:

This is what you don't see in the pic above ...Notice how far I have to get down to see this

This is basically with the camera almost on the passengers seat
The passengers mirror is definitely for show only!

Any questions just ask and I'll be glad to help.

yes..i have similar results.

u gotta adjust the mirrors before u stick the tape on..i would move the plate around and then put my finger on the glass to held it there.

my driver side works bomb as hell i can see like damn near every lane in the freeway. although no matter what i did, the passenger side sucks

but its ok because i never use my passenger mirrors anyway. i always look. both ways. i dont trust mirrors so whatevers.

the blue convex mirror is really cool. cuts down on bright *** headlights in your eye like big trucks do to you. and they really do make objects in mirror closer then they appear.lol. theres such a difference from my rear view to my side mirrors in distance its funny

It doesn't really matter about the angle of the mirror before putting the taped glass on. It's going to go flat on the big circle anyway it's angeled. It's all about adjusting the view afterwards

nah. i mean like this. id move the circle inside. then hold the mirror up to it as if i was sticking it on. and id see if i needed to make further adjustments. id take out the glass move a lil here and there, size it back up. when i was happy with it i THEN stuck the tape on and put in on permant.

i did this because of the rash of people who have been sticking thumbs through the glass. its hard to move which im sure u can tell. and that lens is damn thin. i was just playin safe.i didnt want to use pressure to move the glass after the fact.

how is the quality? I have heard that the mirrors are prone to cracking if they are handled/adjusted too much?

They are light! Probably close to 1 pound if that! Feel real cheap because they are light, but like I said the fitment is GREAT! I couldn't believe the difference in weight compared to the OEM drivers side. The lens is definitely sturdy and will NOT need any adjustment unless some dip $hit puts his hands on them and moves the lens.

I give them a ....but I was rolling with one mirror and that's pretty embrassing especially when you are checking out girls next to you

I didn't have a passengers mirror and thought I'd go for a new look.
I'm picking up one of those lane changer mirrors in a few that goes on top of the OEM mirror

the knock offs are faulking trash and one hell of a waste of money, they are mounted like crap and they have zero adjustability. although the spoon/ visions are extremly well made and are like a night and day difference in quality, they are also a faulking waste of money. but a must have...

You know why they are adjusted so low?

Cuz us Asian people are short, so we sit lower in the car. So naturally "our" view would be lower than the standard USDM people.
