Want to make my honda faster
I have a 94 honda civic lx four door sedan, it has rims, exahust, and intake(probably a cheap one not sure no brand name) those are all the mods that are not stock. its running on a D15 1.5 liter, i dont want to strip anything since it is my daily driver but i want to be able to launch quicker. the motor reads about 140k it is automatic. wat can i buy or do to make it faster. Im willing to spend whatever it takes. can someone spare advice, or links to parts that i can buy such as headers or something. New to the honda scene and barely starting to get familiar with mechanics so new to that as well but i will no what your talking about.

the crapomatic is killing you... Bolt ons are a waste, period.
If you are willing to spend whatever it takes dump that motor/trans and look into swaping a B series (or H2B or K series) or another D. If d series build and boost.

Yup...if you want to spend the money...TURBO K-Series!...or just ball out and do a J-series swap...haha.
But seriously, if you want to put the money down, swap the trans, get a good suspension set up, some brakes to stop the thing then build your engine for turbo or swap and go turbo. The only way to go fast in these damn things is turbo...that is why my del sol is so slow

Swap trans to manual is best thing to do! lol
After that just go basic bolt ons for ok power
But if you really want nice power you should
Just save a little money and get a swap

Turbos would make it fast, but automatics make it lame. I'm going to assume that you're not able to afford a turbo. Nitrous would be a viable solution for your dilemna. Oh, and automatics are lame...why are you trying to make your gf's car fast anyway?

Either she learns to drive a stick, or she doesn't drive your car. (not driving the car is ideal .)

You have three options with an auto.
A) Replace it with a standard
B) Blow it up and replace it once a week
C) Get a new, rebuilt, strong auto that's made for the abuse
