I just ran across some information about EK HX fuel injectors being rated at 190cc, and was curious if anyone knows if the EG VX fuel injectors are rated lower than 240cc like the rest of the 92-95 ones are?

the reason I ask is I have a VX swap in my EG but I am using the dx/lx injectors from my old engine at the moment and am looking for ways to get better gas mileage without buying new stuff heh... I will probably just swap in the VX ones for a while to find out. but if anyone knows the answer off the top of their head it would save me some work

bump... can anyone verify if VX injectors are less than 240cc?

did some Googling and saw that answers varied from 190 to 235 to 240 (this even coming from HT moderators). Honda dealership is closed right now so I can't get the right answer. The Honda parts dept. is probably your best bet.

The DX/EX/Si injectors are P06-A02 for the D15B7/D16Z6
The CX/VX injectors are P05-A02 for the D15B8/D15Z1

This leads me to believe they are different and flow less

EX/Si injectors are also the same IIRC.

VX injectors are 180 or 190cc, same as Y5/Y7/D15B8 injectors. D15B7/D16Z6/D16Y8/All B-series are 240cc.

actually there is one more point of speculation... my engine is a JDM one, and curisouly it has minor differences from the USDM D15Z1, including the throttle body is much larger - its the same throttle body as my D15B7 has... so any idea if the JDM injectors are the same as USDM? I am assuming yes, but always worth asking i suppose

i'm pretty sure they're the same. there was very little variability with injectors. only the bigger engines had large injectors, i.e. h22, and maybe the ITR.
