simple question - just wondering why I might be getting mad gas mileage...

I've put more than 11 gallons in my car before. I think the most i've put in there is like almost 12... can't really remember cus i buy gas like 5 bucks at a time. hahaha

Oh, and if you're runnin the stock vx motor, with the vx tranny, that's probably why too. The VX is all about fuel economy.
