VTEC engagement/bad ecu. Someone help please!!!
I think I have a bad ecu, and am throwing a code 22 (vtec system malfunction). I think its my ecu. Can I install a VAFC or Fields Vtec controller and bypass the ecu to engage vtec, even though my ecu wont engage it? Someone help!! I have checked the oil level, and I am sure all the wiring is correct. Anyone?

maybe u should cheeck your oil. and add some.
code 22 is vtec solenoid.
check for voltage, but first check your oil.

waht year is your car, u might heave to wire it directly from the vtec solinod to the ecu, if u have a b series motor in a 93-95 EG u have wire vtec and knock sensor, if u have a 92 it comes pre-wired, check this website out it was very hepful to me http://tech.hybridgarage.com/
Good luck!!!
