Default vtec controller on single cam? ya? na?

seein how the single cams vtec isnt that strong would a vtec controller really be worth it?

do you even have anything done to this sohc motor you speak of?

what do you have done to it?

just simple bolt ons, megan header, aem cai, and some magnaflow exhaust that came on the car

cars a 93 ex

unless you plan on buildin an all motor sohc, i wouldnt do it.

in my eyes, its not worth it. i would jsut save you money up towards suspension mods, or a clutch/flywheel combo

Personally with "just simple bolt ons" its not worth having a Vtec controller.

yea i want to boost it later on down the road....im just lookin for some decent power mods for right now and didn't know if the vtec controller would really help alot

any internal mods that i should do before turbo? like camshaft or pistons?

Nope, just keep saving. If you really want to build a single cam, get a spare block and have that sitting in the garage while you drive your car around right now and build that block as you get money.

IMO, unless you really know what you're doing, you have no reason to be messing with your vtec crossover, regardless of what motor you have. Honda made the crossover where it is for a reason, its not worth the money to buy something to change it when the gains would be minimal anyways.
