Re: Vtec Controller help (Honda97)
They're basically the same except the VAFCII has more adjustment points. That might make it easier for your tuner, but other than there's nothing else much different. Oh, the VAFC can't monitor some stuff the VAFCII can, but to me that doesn't matter.

Re: Vtec Controller help (Daniel)
be careful with buying a used one...do yourself a favor and make sure you get one that has the instruction and installation manuals

Re: Vtec Controller help (Honda97)
i have a vafc2 and i hate it i wanna sell it im thinking.. its only a month and a half old... HONDATA! HONDATA! HONDATA! the vafc2 isnt all that when it comes to everyday driving... it wont allow the computer to make corrections for the air fuel ratio to a certain point, then it will throw a code... its real anoying.. in the morning when its cooler outside it runs lean... gotta adjust... then later on when it gets hotter out it runs rich... and the comp trys to correct the fuel and the bastard wont let it...... you almost have to constantly be watching your air/fuel.. im seriously considering disconnecting it tonight and just runnning stock, if i feel like getting off my ***.. its good for when your at the track, where you can set it run it then be done with it.. but then the next time your there if its hotter out or berometric preasure is different you have to adjust again... if i could doit over again id get hondata...
