Volk TE37 Fakes
Love the Volk TE37s, however. I don't really need a racing perfomance wheel to add to an aleady popular car to be stolen.
I own a white '00 civic HB, and I want a similar wheel to the volk te37 in white, 16 or 17 inches.
Please do no be confused this is not a where to buy or want to trade thread. I just want ideas. What are some brand and model names that are copies or fakes of the TE37s.
Or an wheel similar to the TE37, 6 spokes etc. Some I've seen are the motegi ff6 or the enkei rs6.
Now I sit and wait for the flaming and class of '04 comments.

Re: Volk TE37 Fakes (MonkeyPuzzle)
If wheels don't have to be exact you can check out Nippon racing wheels. The Vortec II is nice, and light weight. They also make a Type C to replicate SSR. They should run less than $750(way less) this price includes ship to Hawaii. Or my friend has a set of 17" Volk TE37s for sale, but again shipping will be slightly costly.

Re: Volk TE37 Fakes (L.)
Looks like the Nippon Formula-1 are actually the TE37 copies, not the type R's.
So i'm thinking the Rota Grids are the deal for me. So how 'bout some advice.
Should a: Rota Grid 16x7, or b: Rota Grid 17x7.5.
Not gonna be a racer or track beast, so please no advice for the 15"s people. Just wanna know is 17x7.5 will rub at all? '00 civic HB, stock.

Re: Volk TE37 Fakes (Dstretch33)
/\ /\ Stretch's car is beautiful in person. The good thing about the rota grids is that there are only 4 lug holes like the real Volks. The Konig Rated R's and the Nippon's are 8 lug universal and look ugly with all the extra holes.

Re: Volk TE37 Fakes (EKchump)
I hate you people so much, now I'm gonna have to sell the wheels I got and havent even used to get some smaller rims cause you have me hatin on 17's already, and plus I think the 15/16's look alot better, not to mention the ride quality. Damn you people for making me spend my money!!

i dunt really care what people say about rota's
