Default VIS invader CF Hood add clearance?

Maybe someone who has run into my same problem will know the answer. I am looking at a 92 Civic HB with a B18c1 swap that is boosted. Part of the hood is cutout for the SS turbo manifold because it does not clear. I currently don't have the option of garaging it and I don't really like the exposure it gives the e-bay while driving. However, I can't find a hood that seems to accomidate extra clearance in the area in need (keep in mind, I'm not gonna DIY a cowl, nor use anything involving a scoop). The only hood that comes close is the VIS invader, but nothing I can find says anything about extra clearance (or mearsurements for that matter). If anyone knows anything on the subject, please let me know. At this point I'm guessing its a no-go, and I'm looking at just going cast iron manifold/stock hood if I have to. Thanks.

why dont u want to install a small cowl or scoop. doesnt have to be a ricer 20" scoop. just something that will cover it. or u could mold in a hump....

A cowl or something would work. I personally think it could be done without looking too bad, but my friend is the one actually thinking about buying the car. He hates the idea. So I'm left trying to help him find a hood. The hood doesn't need to clear much, maybe an inch or less. Of course the engine is set more to the left as well (facing from the drivers seat), so I can't really tell if the manifold would even be under the bulge (looking at photos seems to put the manifold possibly just under it). Idk, I'm still trying to get him to go to a body shop and see how much it would cost to modify the hood. It might end up being at least comparable to swapping the manifolds and doing a retune.

That sounds like its hitting on the middle right side with that BOV (facing from the drivers seat). This is right above the header area (front and slightly left, again from drivers seat). It is around 6 to 8 inches from the front of the hood. I don't have exact measurements but I can try to get some when we talk to the guy next if it helps anyone.
