It was TOTALED! 
They said that they will value the car at what ever other dealerships have them priced at plus added what I had on the car then evaluate a new value then grand me that or not me but the lien holder or dealership to whom I purchased my car. So if the value does not total 9k then I stuck paying it still. According to him his estimate cmae to $6450 to fix, and they will not pay it, he said I have no option either to not let them take it. I have 4 days to take my stuff off then it goes on to an acution where I can buy it after the first bid is made and if I can match or beat the bid. This blows!!! No car stuck with payments! Not cool!

That insurance bullshit is GAY. How the **** do they not give you the ******* option of keeping your car??? Your insurance company sucks man, I feel soooo sorry for you....stuck with payments on a car you don't even own. I would just let the car go, **** the auction. Buy yourself another EG, this time NOT for 9k, and then just work with that. Sorry to hear about your loss...I am also in the process of dealing with insurance (I only get $2600 after deductable and buying my car back...

then you have 4 days to COMPLETELY strip the car.
take <U>EVERYTHING</U>. if it unbolts, take it. if you don't have the option of keeping the chassis, keep everything else.
what insurance company do you have?
you never know what you could do with the stuff you keep from it. you could use it all in the future, or sell it. but you never know is my motto, you may need it someday...

hey bro sorry to hear about your car. but you have to admit kinda ballsy on the theives part. but hey do you have homeowners issurance. because i had my motorcycle stolen from my house, and i got money back from my motorcycle insurance plus money from my homeowners insurance. in the end i pocketed 3k im not sure how it works out there in cali, but hey give it a shot. if it was me i would say it was a friend of yours, not saying you have bad judge of caracter but people are shady as hell these days. good luck with everything.
