VERY IMPORTANT ENGINE HARNESS QUESTION. PLEASE HELP!!
I HAVE A 1997 HONDA CIVIC DX. I HAVE A LS VTEC SWAP, B18B BLOCK, AND B18C HEAD. I NEED AN ENGINE HARNESS BUT I CANT FIGURE OUT WHICH ONE TO USE. I BOUGHT AN 99-00 SI HARNESS BUT DIDNT WORK. PLEASE HELP! WILL A 96-98 EX HARNESS WORK ON A DX?

the easiest thing to do is first, TURN OFF THE CAPS.
second, it is easier to use your dx harness. i know it sounds weird, but trust me i have done this many times and use this page as a reference. it does work. and it is less of a headache to use the harness that came out of the car.

p.s. i was just ball bustin.
you can make the ex harness work, i have never made a ex harness work in a dx, the differences are in the secondary oxygen sensor. on the dx the sensor wiring is in the engine harness, in the ex it is in the dash harness. if you can figure out how to wire up the second o2 you should be fine.
