!!!!valvetrain help!!!!
ok well i'm buildind a single cam for boost. i'm looking to get somewhere inbetween 300-450hp or in the 11's. so i already built the bottom end but what i want to know is will the stock valves hold up with aftermarket springs and retainers or will i have to get aftermarket valves aswell?

you can run aftermarket dual springs and retainers with stock valves i have dne this my self. but wouldnt hurt to go ahead and put a good set of valves while you are there.

im sure they do just have to search and there alot of good cams but most people i see run the skunk 2 pro cams on there setup. i got a turboed h22 and i am running supertech dual valve springs and titanium retainers and supertech nitrial race dish valves and a skunk2 turbo cams

but on cam go with the skunk 2 pro 1 cam its alot better cam. they dnt even make a turbo cam anymore they run the pro1 cams i just got mine on a really good deal from a guy that never used them

come one josh i thought u knew how to build engines! lol jk the skunk2 garage on ebay sells stock comp valves for 140 shipped
and i told u bisi cam or stock will work good but i agreee with h22accord the crower cams are good for turbo also

Correction I know more about v8's then 4 banger. 4 bangers is a whole new game for me

Welll I was looking at skunk2s website I they don't make any pro series cams for a single but I want to get a bisi cam but I wanted to see if anyone sells the same cams as bisi but for a cheaper price

u can run a stock head but if you upgrade your cams some call for aftermarket valve train usually stage 1 you can use stock valve train but anything above stage 1 you have to upgrade the valve train.

Im sorry but we never made a Pro 1 for the single cam, also the single cam camshaft itself is discontinued.
