Valentine-1, Who has them, and on what mode.
Just got mine today,
Its really neat. I also got the remote display.
Anyway, What mode do you use, do you have better protection with
one versus the other. have read the users guide but am curious what everyone
else is using. Also do you switch between modes for city and freeway?

I use mine in the full logic mode in town. (the big "L") On the highway/interstate I switch to the intermediate mode (the small "L") If I use the intermediate mode in town I get too many hits from door openers and security systems.
On the open road I like to be notified of any hit but if it is a minor/weak signal it is a muted alert and doesn't go full volume until it is a "serious" signal. Ido pay attention to any alert but I may not take action on the highway until I think it is a real problem.
In the ALL mode any signal is taken as full alert and that is overkill. I never use the ALL setting.
