Oh.....where to start? Well first it's not v-tech as that is a phone. It's vtec (all one word too ) Do you do all your own work or where all the mods done by someone else? If someone else did the work you might be better off going to a mechanics shop or performance garage and getting them to fix it. If the ecu is chipped, try checking to see if it's still in good working order. How is your oil level and general maintenance? If you can hear it kick in then the vtec solenoid is working fine and it's something else. Does it run well and pull strong when not in vtec? If not then there is another factor that is slowing the engines performance. Good Luck .

Seriously, before it gets out of hand, it's enough already. He spelled VTEC incorrectly, there's a phone spelled the same way, let it go.

Are you sure it's crossing over? Have you checked the basics, like oil level, Vtec solenoid, etc?
Why are you using a GSR ECU with your B16?
The program on your ECU that people refer to as Mugen, runs extremely rich, which could possibly be why you're not getting a big crossover kick.

Re: v-tech dont hit (Bond)
Since you don't know what vtec is that probably means you don't change your oil and you probably don't have any oil by now so you might wanna check your oil 1st. (The oil cap is to the left of the vtec printing on the valve cover.)

So your basing his vehicle knowledge on the way he spelled ''VTEC''?

Its kinda like the guy you talk to on the street and he mentions he used to own a 442 and he loved that 442 cubic inch motor. Of course thats all wrong (442= 4 barrel, 4 speed and dual exhaust) even though the guy may have really owned the car its just that his knowledge about cars comes into question. And no we shouldnt rag on folks that dont know any better.
Another thing that comes to mind is the engine has to be up to temp before vtec will kick in. If these little simple things dont work theres a few more things you can do.

So you say you hear it, but you don't feel a pull. Is this you're first experience with a vtec equipped car and maybe it's working and just not meeting your expectations?
I would though get a stock B16 ECU. Those "mugen" programs are junk
