My suggestion is to throw it out of a moving vehicle and never look back ...
but if you do want to install it, then here:

So you'd rather hack up your factory harness to install a part that's going to make your car perform worse .... instead of pay a rather small sum to have it removable and be plug-and-play and save yourself hours of annoyance?
Speaks volumes about how your car is going to turn out.

A manual fuel pressure regulator. And how do you know you're running lean?

IIRC, an AFC doesn't control fuel, only air flow. Hence the name "Air Flow Converter"
But yeah like erans said just get the harness, it'll be less hassle when you realize it sucks and remove it lol

Yeah, see they're just trying to take your money. You don't know enough about how a car works to even begin to use all the features an S300 system would give you, so the astronomical cost would be a huge waste. Also, paying a shop to install your V-AFC2 plus tune it would be another hole to **** money into.
Get a chipped ecu from Phearable.net or Kenji's and have a reputable tuner in your area (Click Here) to do a dyno or street tune on your car.

The unit intercepts and modifies the MAP signal, which is where its name comes from. By adjusting the voltage of the signal and sending it back out, it is able to "fool" the ECU into thinking that there is either less or more air entering the engine. The ECU then responds by altering the amount of fuel being introduced, and this is how the unit is able to adjust the air/fuel ratio. Issues arise when trying to add fuel to the curve at points where the MAP signal is already near its maximum value. Since the controller is unable to increase the signal much while staying within the MAP value's functional range, no additional fuel can be added, and a CEL is also often triggered. The most common way of avoiding this problem is to increase the base fuel pressure using an adjustable FPR, and then lean out the curve where necessary using the controller. Larger injectors can also be used, depending upon how much fuel is needed.

why waste money on the vafc just to upgrade to an s300? sell the vafc and save up for the s300.
