Default Is using this ecu good for mini-me setup ?

how would a d16z6 /d16y7 mini me setup run with a stock p08 ecu ?

I have a good dead thats why im asking

not sure how it would run but it would run. and if i had to guess i'd say that it'd probably run pretty damn good.

It will run it. It won't be optimal, but it will run.

because i don't have first hand experience with a p08 on a z6 but i have run a p28 on a d15b and it ran pretty good. just trying to help him out.

it will run a touch leaner when in open loop.
1.5 to 1.6 - simple math.
but when tuning P28 maps, leaning things out a little bit makes more power... so it should run good.
Keep an eye on your A/Fs and EGTs if you can.

yes, you can use the P08 for that.

differences between the P08 and P28 (that I can remember off the top of my head)
one wire O2 on the P08 - four on the P28
one wire VTEC on P08 - two on P28

pretty much, yes. much the same way as the P28 can be.
as well as the P30 and P72. the P05 and P06 can also, butthey require some additional parts to control VTEC.

p28 manual transmission ecu and obd1 d16z6 distributor for $100 bucks the combo
