Flip a coin!!! Make sure the clutch isn't seized. If you are getting it from a junkyard, when removing, if you still have pressure in the lines, I would say that is a good sign it is good. I would look for a car that was totaled since it shows the car still had life before being wrecked.

I just replaced mine. It looks new, clutch spins fine. It's bad. I'd save up a little more and just get a new one. It'll end up being cheaper in the long run.
