Default Upgrading cams... Got a few questions...

ok the motor is a JDM sir1 b16a...

With a big tube tri-y header
Skunk2 intake manifold
Omni 68mm TB
Skunk2 cam gears
full Greddy (not sure of model) 2.5'' exhaust.

Going to be upgrading from stock valvetrain to skunk2 pro 2's...

I know that your able to use the K series retainers and reuse the keepers, and thats my plan...

1) I have JG dual spings which I recived with the sale of the car BNIB... I have read many bad things about JG... Does this just go for his motors or all his parts???

2) Will the K series retainers work well with the JG springs or do they only work on certain dual springs???

3) Is there a how to out there for changing the valve springs and retainers with the head on using compressed air to hold the valves or a hanger threw the spark plug hole...

4) I know tuning will get more power out of my set up but, is tuning absoultely neccicary???

5) Is there anything else that I need???

Thanks guys...

If you've heard JG has bad parts you should probably get something with a better reputation.

And yes, tuning is absolutely necessary. You can probably also sell that skunk2 IM if you would like to. It's not worth it's weight in salt.
