Update: My EG Hatch project
Its been a week since i got my hatch and Ive been working on it almost everyday. Ive just been getting the car back together before it goes in the shop for the motor this coming weekend. I dont know how many of you saw my first post but heres what the original picture looked like:
and heres what it looks like a week later:
I had to get new bumpers, tail lights, side skirts(not installed yet), ive painted the wheels(after the picture was taken), reattached the rear windshield and spoiler, and banged out a couple dings in the passenger side front fender.
While doing the body work ive come across a few problems. One is the front bumper. The bumper seems to be twisted and doesnt line up right. Heres a pic of it:
as you can see the bumper does not line up right with the hood. Anyone ever have this problem? The holes have some play in them so you can screw the bumper down in slighty different positions but no matter what i did it didnt line up right.
Another problem was the head lights. The corner light and headlight wouldnt line up correctly on the drivers side.
lines up just fine on the passenger side but no matter how i adjusted them i couldnt get it to line up. I havent done much body work so if anyone has ever had these problems or just has suggestions of things i can do that would be helpful.

ran into another problem today. the idiot i bought my car from had one 14in steelie. Good thing i have a friend with an extra set of steelies but i really wanted to get the tires put on today because im gonna be pretty busy this week and i need this car drivable (besides the motor) so when it comes out of the shop i can drive it home without getting another tow.
