Underdrive crank pulley with stock belts?
Since its time to change the timing belt of my Civic. I think about to install an underdrive crank pulley. I think that the the ones for the US 1.5 and 1.6 l SOHC Engines will fit my D14A3 Motor. Basically it looks like the 96-00 DX Model, all other stuff from the DX fits pretty well.
Can I drive these pulleys with stock belts? Will it really gains HP, or is it a waste of money? Maybe you can recommend any brands to me. Whats with that stuff on ebay for around 60$, is it crap?

Nobody? I want to take my civic to the honda dealer by the end of the month. If I want to change the pulley, i have to order it soon. For clearness, there is a picture of the D14A3

These pulleys underdrive your accessories by changing the diameter on the stock pulley. That said, when you change the diameter on the pulley the belt size willl .... ....

No you can not use the stock belts. But they do tell you which belts to use when u do buy the pulley and you can most likely get them at the dealer or any parts store. Unorthodox makes a good pulley i have a unorthodox single pulley and it does rev faster but you wont notice anything in the seat of your pants.

Yeah call up UR and they'll fax ya the belt size.....I got my belts at Autozone..in stock even!!
