Default Undecided...and all together not sure

Well i have all the parts and all the money for labor...Just trying to decide if i should drive the car to the tuner or have it flat bedded...any thoughts on this.

I am replicating the build found in the link. Same engine same parts (plus a port and polish).

Very key. 2 blocks and 20 miles are a lot different.

If it runs well at idle, you could take it easy on the motor and drive super-slow if it's no further than 5-6 miles.

So basically you have a buddyclub head package on it? I would just make sure the cam gears are set to stock, but buddy club should have a recommended setting. Install it, and you shouldn't have a problem driving it to the shop for tuning. Just keep the revs low and speed low as well.

Yeah buddy club head package, buddy club head gasket, flat faced valves PnP and 3 angle valve job. So like 4500 rpm's max-ish and what say 65 mph?

I'd drive 45-55 just to be on the safe side.

Check the settings

$0 i would use my AAA card so it is still a viable option, i would have to take the day off from work though seeing as to how tow trucks take a while to show up any where.

Free flat bedding to a tuner, or risk blowing the motor up on the drive there? Hmm...

Rent a uhaul car dolly. 50.00 for a day

Otherwise you can drive it like you stole it all the way to the tuner shop.

Well I don't know about where you live, but my buddy just got a 90 crx towed about 40 miles free courtesy AAA and its not even on his insurance policy. Usually they dont say anything about it, it's really worth a shot compared to wasting money blowing your motor....
