Default two questions for you guys about axles and brakes.

Hey guys, 2 questions for you all, when you swap a GSR with USDM ITR tranny into a 93 DX hatch what axles get used? im getting all kinds of mixed answers every thing from I can use the stock dx axles to I have to use 2000 GSR axles. so whats the correct answer?

and the second question is the guy im buying the car from also did a rear brake swap on this 93 dx hatch and used 2000 civic si rear disk, he said he didnt touch the master cylinder or proportion valve, shouldnt the valve and or master cylinder be changed as well to maintain proper brake balance? he claims it stops perfect as is but i just figured i better check.

Completely depends on what intermediate shaft was used, assuming the original style intermediate shaft was used though '94 - '01 integra (except JDM 98+ ITR) '94 - '97 Del Sol Vtec and '99 - '00 Civic Si axles will all work. In no case will D-series axles work.

If he only upgraded the rear brakes and didn't touch the front then don't change the MC or prop valve, if he did use a '91 EX MC and a prop valve off a non abs integra.

Yes. '92 Si's had small front brakes like the CX and DX, but they have rear discs. They have the same 13/16s MC as the CXs and DXs. The prop valve is different, but the stock valve works fine. I personally run the same setup in sedan stock front brakes with rear discs, stock everything else, I drive in snow for 6 months of the year and have no trouble with the rears locking up first. Ideally run a '92 Si prop valve though.

'92 - '95 DXs are all the same. '94 Si's (that one year only had ABS as an option)

All of the ones I listed are the same, they will ask you are the parts counter ABS or NON ABS btw, take whatever is in stock, they both work.
