oh yes they are 02 sensor plugs, the short one needs to go to your o2 sensor but the second one[longest one is not used when running obd1 ecu, p28 only requires 1 o2 sensor

Re: Two mystery plugs on harness (boosted92hatch)
what if my car is neptuned and i don't need to run an O2 sensor. is it a good idea to keep one of the plugs still? i didn't have one of those on my old OBD1 harness.
can someone confirm one is for O2 sensor, whats the other one for then?

btw i thought there is an O2 sensor plug on the back of the block. why are there two on the front? if both of those on the front are for O2 sensor, then what is the plug on the back for? i'm confused.

96 and up hondas being obd2 all use 2 o2 sensors. o2 sensor 1 and o2 sensor 2. someone confirm for him. obd1 only uses one. my 96 has the same harness and the same 2 plugs and i use 2 o2 sensors on a obd2 ecu

what plug. that harness does not have a 02 plug on the back of the block. o2 sensors screw into the exhaust manifold. dx 02's are right in front of the block on 0bd2 engines. one ontop of the manifold and one right under the cat on the downpipe. the cat is located in front of the motor on the dx, not under the car

Re: Two mystery plugs on harness (boosted92hatch)
sorry i've never owned an OBD2 car before. this is my first. I've had three 5th gen's in a row now and now this 99 dx.
I do know that obd2 has 2 O2 sensors but i didn't know both hook up up-front by the v-tec solenoid. I have a 3 wire sensor hanging below the oil filter. i thought it was for the O2 sensor, but it's more likely for the knock sensor. i don't think have a knock sensor screwed anywhere on the back of the motor, was disabled when i had it tuned?
since i already have a few responses in this thread:
can i take out all these wires? why or why not? they're obviously not plugged into anything....
I do know one of these mystery plugs goes into the intake arm, where does the other one go? that orange wire just hanging there on the right i can just take out correct? or just leave it plugged in?
