Twin loop muffler question
So im kinda puzzled. I have too much freeflow from my exhaust (glasspacks in place of both resonator and muffler) on my B16A3. I was told to look for a twin loop muffler. Wont a TLM just give me the same freeflow as i already have? All i want is more restriction so i can build up some backpressure to increase my low end torque. And also, the OBX ones are said to be made out of stainless steel, can that be welded to regular steel? Thanks a bunch!

Re: Twin loop muffler question (deadend9009)
the purpose for the twin loop muffler is to help keep the back pressure for the torque while giving better air flow for a couple hp gains also.

Re: Twin loop muffler question (Phantastic)
so what you are saying is that it is restricting the flow and thus will help me gain some of my low end torque back? And what about welding the SS to reg. steel?

yes you can weld ss to reg. steel.
not to threadjack or anything but while were on the twin loop topic, would the twin loop be good for a car w/ a nitrous setup?
