Twin-cam head on D16 block?
Hey there. I'm on here under my friends name, but I have a 92 Civic DX w/a D16Z6 swapped in. I was reading in the "Honda & Acura Performance Guide" that you can put a twin-cam head on this block. I was just wondering if this was true, and if so, which head is it? Thanks a lot.

It might be possible to mate a ZC head on there... I've heard of people doing this type of swap with the 8 valve motors. However, anything B-series is not going to fit on your block.

if you want a ZC DOHC so badly, look around there are 92-5 JDM ZC DOHCs....
they bolt in have obdI electronics
or get 88-91 black cover zc dohc from civic/crx, change the mount, distributor and other electronics/sensors and drop it in

*waits for that one guy who always pops up in this thread about how his sisters cousins uncle did it once, but he doesn't have any details on the subject*
It won't work.
