Turn signals not working???
Last night I went to take my cluster out and in a rush to put it back together to go watch the Duke and G-town game, I accidentally plugged my hazard button on the clock harness. This has caused several failures now. My turn signals aren't working, the check engine and e-brake lights on the cluster won't light up. My temp needle no worky either. Can anyone tell me which fuse to check? I tried looking at both fuse box diagrams in the fuse box next to the battery and the fuse box under the steering column but with no luck. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm terrible at electrical issues.

check your instrument panel fuse,..im guessing you have a 5th gen since you plugged the hazards into the clock which a 6th gen doesnt have,..i know on both my 6th gen hatchbacks that when i unplug the hazard button harness the turn signals dont work,..that harness has to be plugged in

Re: Turn signals not working??? (WiDeBoDyEK)
I have a 93 hatch CX and it didn't come with a clock. The clock harness is usually just plugged into this clock blocker thing. I know that the turn signals will not work if the hazard button is unplugged but when I do plug the hazard button on, the hazards will work but my turn signals won't and my guage cluster goes dead, temp needle, speedo, gas needle no worky. THis morning on the way to work, I plugged the hazard button on the clock harness again and all my cluster needles worked fine but no turn signals still.

Re: Turn signals not working??? (WiDeBoDyEK)
I fixed it last night. I ended up pulling every single fuse out from under the steering column. The fuse labeled "Back Up" was blown. So if any of you ever do what I did and plug my hazard button to the clock harness and all of the sudden your guages and turn signals aren't working, check this fuse and it will more than likely be the one causing the problem. Lates!
