turbo my b16a1
its a 1991 uk model its done 110 thou miles, what would i have to do to turbo it. e.g. can i just get a manifold and turbo and just shot it on or do i have to change the pistons or piston compression ratio??? what sort of brake hose increase would i gain from 160 bhp.
or yeah what would a superchip give me on power increase http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ironlungz/index.htm <-MY CIVIC HERE

You could throw on a turbo kit, and just run it as is, but you want to make sure you're running the proper amount of fuel, especially when you're dealing with a stock block. That's a pretty good amount of miles, I would do a compression test first, make sure you're producing decent numbers. If not, you may want to look into a rebuild.....and if you're going to rebuild it, may as well build it right, for turbo with pistons/rods/blockguard/etc. But if you want to just keep it simple and affordable, you can throw a turbo kit on it, and keep it under 8lbs. With a quality kit, you'll easily make over 200hp at the wheels. I don't know what a brake hose increase is, so I can't help you there, but I do know that superchips are no good, especially if you're going turbo. - Not into oversized rims, but your car looks nice, like the color, never seen a factory back bumper like that before. Good luck

Re: turbo my b16a1 (rodrez)
thanks for the info, were can i get all the right parts for the professional rebuild , i'd need a list of all the parts i would need so i could get saving up and just buy them all in 1 go.
how much is it for a turbo kit that would just go straight on it as it stands now.
