Yes you will need a P28. No, since your car has VTEC-E already, I dont THINK you will have to wire it up. What black box?

thanks for the reply, in the middle of my firewall there is a black box with 3 wires coming out of it, me or my friends could not find out what it was, but i sen the same thing on another vx hatch. Will the mini me turbo setup last more than 2000 miles? and also do you think its worth it to even do the mini me or just run non vtec turbo d15?

depends on how much boost you run...if you run 4-5 it'll last a while...if you run 8-10 it will probably blow up in the near future...you should be in good shape just keep it low boost

He is talking about the black box on the center of the firewall. I don't think you need it. I removed it when I did my GSR swap in my VX.

I believe that black box has to do with the VX's EGR system. Here is a blown up picture of that black box and it's contents:

Yah the black box is gone after a swap...mine is gone, the lil 3 wires harness n plug is just hanging there.....however there is an emissions standard for it...one of the vacumn lines off of it run the the evap canister returnv valve and it has to be connected......

I got hassled about it at my last emissions trip.....I BS'd my way through, thank god for az and its lazy *** non car knowing HS grads that test our cars....
