in my opinion turbo is more complicated than all motor

are you talking about the turbo piping or the turbo itself cuz i think the turbo will fit if you still have fog's and just get custom piping so it doesnt hit the lights

By building it. Where the turbo sits has nothing to do with the fog lights, its the intercooler your most likely talking about. Whoever is putting it in could make you custom pipping to fit with fogs. Ive done it a few times on cars, its not that hard.

I think the OP has a 96-98 EK, not 99-00...atleast that's what his avatar would have me believe...

oh my bad he said ek si so i figured 99-00..im not a 96-98 guy but do the foglights mount on the bumper grille itself? so it shouldnt effect the intercooler that much right, especially with a small intercooler, but i'd still mount the intercooler lower reguardless of the year assuming the inlet/outlets on the intercooler are on the bottom of the endtanks

But he said that he had an EK Si front end on his Civic. So if its a 96-98 Civic it doesn't matter. The front end is still going to be the same as the 99-00 Si and would look exactly like the pictures posted up. They Didn't make the Si in 96-98.

So that means that krazyhmongboi was right to start off with. Its not different from the 99-00 Si setup.

Should work fine with custom piping. Same thing I'm working on now on my 99. Test fitted everything and didn't have to bend ,brake or do anything with the foglight brackets.

Man U FTW
If you spend a little time making the correct intercooler fit, you can easily avoid the fog lights...i wouldn't give up on the turbo project just because of this little setback. If people can fit B series turbo setups into an EF, you can make your intercooler setup work with foglights

I do have somewhat of an excuse...living in Canada means we have Si models from 96-00 =P</TD></TR></TABLE>
I didn't know Canada has Si models in 96-98. How about the SiR model? What years did they come in Canada?

Install it yourself so you can learn how to do it. Then you will also have the satisfaction of doing it yourself.
Remember to take lots of pics and post them up of the process.

Haha, that's what I was saying too. Ah, well.. live and learn.
Oh, and I say put the turbo together yourself IF you know what you're doing. If not, find a friend that could help you out so that in the future if you ever turbo another car you know how to do it. But if worst comes to worst, I would just go to whatever reputable shop you have nearby.

The fogs would be much easier to make work on the si front end than the 96-98. I have a 96 and just boosted it and the piping sits right where the fogs are so I am going to have to do a taller narrower intercooler so that I can route the piping around them. It's a lot of work, but in my opinion a 96-98 without them just isn't complete. They are the hotness.
