i have a 93 civic ex coupe with a d16z6 motor in it and it over headed about 2 months ago and it was making a really bad noise like it was grinding or something so i took it all apart and noticed my bearings and the crank on the first cylinder was worn down really bad but the other three wornt so i had to buy a new crank and bearings and i figured it was all apart i would go ahead and turbo it while im at it or at least build it for the turbo any ways so i pretty much replaced everything except for the head and the oil pump put the whole thing back together and torqued it down to the spec i have in my book put the timing where the book told me to got everything back in the car and i go to fire it up and it doesnt sound right but then again its been awhile since i last heard it start, fuel started to squirt out of the injectors so i tighten the fuel rail down more but i think its still shooting fuel out but it sounded like its back firing but at the same time it sounds really bad like ***** not right in my car but i dont have any exhaust on it its just running a dc header and a hollowed out cat (i broke my exhaust using it as a breaker bar for the cv joints) so im expecting it to be loud but i just dont know and i dont want to mess any thing up any one please help me out this is my first build ive done myself
