Thats a ZC motor off a 1990-1993 JDM CRX. It is a 1.6 137hp/108lbs of torque DOHC non vtec motor at 9.5:1 compression.
Its not a b16 but still a nice motor that is great for boosting.

Well the fact that this guy didn't even know what motor is in his car, worries me.
I would test drive it and take it to a reputable mechanic to make sure there are no issues with it.

shhhhhuuuut that **** up.
a DOHC ZC is basically a single cam, with two cams.
It uses a D-series tranny, d-series axles, d-series distributor, d-series etc...
Not even Jesus himself could make that into an "LS/VTEC"
wait a minute, are you the guy selling this car?

I would say grab it if the guy only wants $700 for it. Could turn out to be worth it. A DOHC ZC can make for a good boost motor. If everything else checks out then it may make for a good vehicle to do a swap into.
Then you can sell the ZC to offset the cost of the new swap. And if all else fails you have a parts car.

I would steer clear of buying it, if the guy thinks its a b16. Whats saying he hasn't tried to rev it up to 8k already?
