Honestly, the knockoffs are very difficult to tell apart from the real ones unless you know what you are looking for. I say pick up the knockoffs.

I guess I am missing your stand point then. You don't want the fake ones on ebay, you have found the originals and don't want to pay the price. What are you wanting? Like most consumers, you are paying for a product name. Try as best possible to go around that, but the price is there because people will pay it. I'm not trying to be a dick to you in anyway, just telling it how it is.

The Vision Technica insignia is all that remains from Vision. The non-smoked only VISION are no longer for purchase, so it's not about originals, it's amber less the smoke you are wanting.

How nice do knock-offs really have to be, they are out there. If someone posted a picture could you really tell the difference?

This is 2004 my friend, you have to want to do the work. The search for both recent and archived gave out good information. Under the heading: Vision corners or just corner lights in both the "EG" forum and "Appearance" forum. Even a vendor selling the amber corners in the "Sponsor Market place"

If I put a Tenzo R "MUGEN" valve cover on my engine, does that mean I actually have the $800 real deal mugen valve cover....NO

Point being, even the fake "visions" have VISION stamped on them.
