Default trouble with my 2000 si

when iget on it hard i can see white smoke out of my rearview. i know a little will come out but its heavier than normal it doesn't do it at idle only when i push it to redline. im about 1500 over my next oil change. (im lazy) and this week im doing my 60,000 mile stuff (i have 69588 to be exact) could that be it.
and another thing is it worth building a 70,000 mile b16a2? i plan on a super charger and completely rebuilding it but how much life can i expect? id hate to put money into it for nothing. this is long i know sorry but any help will be thanked ( lol thanked..) with a cold

Sounds like you're burning oil. Yes it's worth building a motor at 70k miles. When you replace the rings, bearings, seals etc, you'll pretty much have a new motor.

if you have the money..a rebuild isnt a bad idea
just do it right the first time...rather than cutting corners for cost reasons...

what kind of build are you thinking of doing???
how mild or wild are you looking to go....expected HP??
this should be an interesting discussion...
and the ultimate Q...how much are you willing to spend??
congrats on the job...hope all your money doesnt go to the car...or let me rephrase..hope you make enough to support more than just your car hobbie!!!..lols

thanks man ive never thought about that. that is a damn good question. i dont know how much hp i want or how much money i want to spend. im moving into my own place in december so not all my money is in my car. i dont plan on car shows. i have no idea. i guess when i finally look at my car and am just like wow! i have an awsome car then that will be my stopping point. until then if i like something ill put it on. i like show more than go but then again i dont want my *** handed to me by a ugly *** car w/ a badass b18 in it(no offense at all). what do you guys think?

personally, i just think having a clean looking car, nothing to flashy nor too stock. After that, everything else goes into the motor. A few exterior goodies and a nice set of wheels is enough for me, a classic kind of clean...ya know..
as far as the motor goes, are you planning an all motor route or forced induction? once you figure that out, the mystery of what to do to your motor is cut by half. I honestly think a well built motor with all the trimmings looks sweeeeet....
good luck bro
btw. a clean car with a badass b18...thats the way to go...lols
